Parties
These terms and conditions apply to all rental agreements concluded with Villa Mondi Curaçao, owned by Marc Bos and Geja Bos. For questions or correspondence, please contact us at info@villamondicuracao.nl.
Booking
A booking is final after written confirmation by Villa Mondi and receipt of the 30% deposit. The guest is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Villa Mondi reserves the right to decline a booking without stating reasons.
Payment terms
For full payment details, please refer to the Payment & Deposit page. In short: 30% deposit within 7 days of confirmation, balance 70% no later than 60 days before arrival. For late bookings (less than 60 days before arrival), the full amount is due immediately. The security deposit is €500. Water and electricity are settled after departure based on actual usage and deducted from the deposit. Tourist tax (7% of the rental price) and final cleaning (€200) are charged separately. The minimum stay is 5 nights.
Cancellation
For the full cancellation policy, please refer to the Cancellation Policy page. All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email. The date of receipt is considered the cancellation date.
Use
The villa is exclusively intended for holiday rental for a maximum of 6 persons, children included. Commercial use, subletting, and transfer of the rental to third parties are not permitted. The guest is responsible for complying with the house rules and respecting the resort and its surroundings.
House Rules
The guest declares to have read and agreed to the house rules. The full house rules can be found on the House Rules page. In case of repeated or serious violations, Villa Mondi reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately without refund.
Liability
Villa Mondi is not liable for damage to persons or property of the guest, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Villa Mondi. The guest is liable for damage to the villa or its inventory caused by their own actions. Villa Mondi is not liable for loss or theft of guests' personal belongings. We advise all guests to take out travel insurance with liability and damage cover.
Privacy
Personal data provided in the context of the booking is used exclusively for the execution of the rental agreement. We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required to do so. We act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For questions about your data, please contact us at info@villamondicuracao.nl.
Governing law
These terms and conditions and all agreements arising from them are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not possible, the competent courts in the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction.
Amendments
Villa Mondi reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The current version is always available on this page. Amendments do not apply to already confirmed bookings, unless the amendment is required by law.
Complaints and disputes
Do you have a complaint or dispute? Please contact us at info@villamondicuracao.nl. We prefer to resolve any issue together in good consultation. If we cannot reach a solution, Article 9 (governing law) applies.
